My Journey
I Did Not Build This Website Because I Was a Web Developer.
I built Prompt Academy because I wanted to create a dedicated knowledge space for AI literacy, prompting, academic writing, teaching and responsible digital learning.
I did not hire any third-party web developer or web agency to build this platform. I learned, tested, revised and built it myself using my knowledge of AI prompting and ChatGPT as a strategic thinking partner.
This journey became proof that I am not merely talking about AI. I am applying what I teach: clear thinking, structured prompting, subject matter expertise, critical evaluation and human-led decision-making.
Practising What I Teach
Prompt Academy Is My Living Proof.
In my training sessions, books and TikTok Live sharing, I always emphasise that successful AI use requires more than simply asking AI to produce an answer.
We need to know where we are going. We need to understand the tool. We need to understand the subject. Most importantly, we need to remain the human expert who leads the process.
Prompt Academy became my own working laboratory, where every page is a result of prompting, testing, rejecting, refining and deciding with human judgement.

This was one of the earlier versions of Prompt Academy before the current rebranding and restructuring process. It reflects the starting point of a self-built website journey developed through continuous prompting, learning and refinement.

Every page on this website was developed through continuous conversations with AI. Each section required planning, questioning, testing, rewriting, debugging and refinement before reaching its final form.
The screenshots below represent only a small portion of that journey. They capture real conversations used to design layouts, write HTML, plan Gutenberg blocks and improve the overall user experience of Prompt Academy.

The Story
This Website Is Not Just a Website.
Prompt Academy was built from a simple but powerful belief: AI should not replace human thinking. It should help humans think better, create better and make better decisions.
This website was not developed by a third-party web agency. It was independently conceptualised, structured, written and refined by Ts Dr Suhailah Mohamed Noor (Dr Sue) using generative AI, especially ChatGPT, as a strategic thinking partner.
Every menu, page, section, headline, user journey and design direction was shaped through prompt engineering, continuous evaluation, critical thinking and human-led decision-making.
Not One Prompt

Prompt Academy did not appear from a single instruction to AI. It was built through countless conversations, structured prompts, revisions, rejected ideas, improved drafts and continuous human judgement.
AI assisted in generating possibilities, but the direction, decisions and final outcomes came from human knowledge, subject matter expertise and critical thinking.

This method brings together clear destination, tool knowledge, subject matter expertise, evaluation and human judgement so that AI becomes a partner in meaningful learning rather than a shortcut without direction.

“We have to have a clear destination. We have to have knowledge. Knowledge about the tool and knowledge about the subject matter. We have to be the subject matter expert.”
This is the philosophy that Dr Sue consistently shares in her TikTok Live sessions, training programmes and writings. Successful AI use does not begin with a prompt. It begins with direction, knowledge and the ability to evaluate what AI produces.
Without a clear destination, AI can generate many answers, but not necessarily the right answer. Without knowledge, users may not know what to accept, what to reject and what to improve.
Beyond Ready-Made Prompts
The Best Prompt Is Not Always the Longest Prompt.
Many people ask for ready-made prompts. Some want prompts they can copy and paste immediately. Some even assume that the value of an AI book depends on whether it provides structured prompts that can be used straight away.
But this reveals one of the biggest misunderstandings about prompting. A prompt is not only a long, structured instruction. Every question we ask, every idea we express, every problem we describe and every instruction we give to AI is already a prompt.
The real issue is not whether we have a prompt. The real issue is whether we have a clear destination and enough knowledge to guide the AI response.
Prompting is not about collecting perfect sentences.
It is about knowing how to think, what to ask, how to evaluate and how to refine.

Human in the Loop in Practice
AI Did Not Build Prompt Academy. Human Intelligence Led the Process.
Building Prompt Academy became a real-world demonstration of the Human-in-the-Loop philosophy. AI supported the process, but every decision required human direction, evaluation and judgement.
1. Idea
The vision began with a human purpose: to build a platform for AI literacy and responsible learning.
2. Prompt
Prompts were used to explore ideas, design pages, structure content and refine messaging.
3. AI Response
AI generated drafts, suggestions, layouts and alternatives for human review.
4. Evaluation
Each output was questioned, checked, adapted or rejected based on purpose and quality.
5. Refinement
The process continued through many rounds of improvement until each page matched the vision.
6. Publishing
The final content was published only after human approval and alignment with Prompt Academy’s identity.
The Real Skill
The Skill Was Not Asking AI. The Skill Was Leading AI.
AI produced many suggestions throughout the process. Not every suggestion was correct. Not every design worked. Not every idea matched the vision of Prompt Academy.
The real skill was knowing what to keep, what to change, what to reject and what to improve. This is where critical thinking, subject matter expertise and human judgement became essential.
