AI may provide answers quickly but meaningful learning still begins with thoughtful questions.
On 11 November 2025, Prompt Academy had the privilege of participating in Karnival PTAR 2025 through a special book discussion organised by Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak, UiTM Cawangan Pulau Pinang, Kampus Permatang Pauh.
The programme, Bicara Buku Bersama Penulis, featured Ts. Dr. Suhailah Mohamed Noor, author of Kuasai Prompt: Seni Memimpin AI untuk Pelajar IPT. The session brought together students, educators and members of the university community to explore how Artificial Intelligence can be used in more thoughtful and responsible ways.
Rather than focusing only on AI tools, the discussion invited participants to consider prompting as a process of communication, reflection and critical thinking. The quality of an AI response is often influenced by the clarity of the question, the context provided and the judgement applied by the person using it.
Throughout the session, participants were encouraged to remain actively involved in the learning process. AI may support the generation of ideas and explanations but understanding, evaluation and final decision-making must remain human responsibilities.
Effective AI use is not only about knowing what to type. It is about knowing what to ask, why the question matters and how to evaluate the response that follows.

About the Book
Kuasai Prompt: Seni Memimpin AI untuk Pelajar IPT was written to help university students understand prompting as an essential academic skill in the era of Artificial Intelligence. Rather than treating AI as a shortcut, the book encourages readers to use AI as a learning partner that supports exploration, reflection and deeper understanding.
Throughout the book, prompting is presented as more than simply asking AI to produce answers. A well-designed prompt begins with clear thinking, meaningful questions and purposeful communication. These are the same qualities that underpin effective learning and lifelong intellectual growth.
The book also emphasises that AI should strengthen human capability, not replace it. Human judgement, ethical responsibility and critical thinking remain central to every interaction with AI.
Conversations That Inspire Better Learning
The session explored how students can work alongside AI while remaining active participants in their own learning journey. Participants were encouraged to view AI not as a replacement for thinking but as a tool that supports curiosity, creativity and academic exploration.
Real examples were shared throughout the discussion to demonstrate how effective prompting can produce richer conversations with AI, generate more meaningful ideas and encourage learners to think beyond surface-level answers.
The programme also highlighted the importance of asking better questions. In many situations, the quality of an AI response is determined by the quality of the prompt. Learning therefore begins long before AI generates an answer.

The Art of Prompting
Prompting is not simply typing instructions into AI. It is the ability to communicate clearly, provide meaningful context and guide AI towards useful outcomes.
AI as a Learning Partner
Artificial Intelligence can support learning by explaining concepts, generating ideas and encouraging exploration. Meaningful learning still depends on active engagement from the learner.
Human Judgement Matters
AI-generated information should always be evaluated carefully. Human judgement remains essential when deciding whether information is accurate, relevant and appropriate.
Responsible AI Use
Ethical AI use means using technology to enhance learning, creativity and productivity while maintaining academic integrity, responsibility and respect for original thinking.

Artificial Intelligence is changing the way we search, write and learn. Yet, technology alone has never been the defining factor of meaningful education.
Throughout this programme, participants were reminded that AI should encourage us to become more curious, more reflective and more responsible learners. A thoughtful prompt is not merely a technical skill. It reflects the way we think, communicate and approach problems.
Perhaps the most valuable lesson from this event is that while AI can generate answers within seconds, it is ultimately human judgement that determines how those answers are interpreted, evaluated and applied in real life.
